Microsoft and Eolas Settle Patent Dispute
If you have been using Flash within the past year, you also know about the annoying "click to activate this control" in Internet Explorer. But now Seattle Post reports that Eolas and Microsoft have agreed to settle the matter.
I do not know if it solves the problem. That will require Microsoft to put out a patch for Internet Explorer - but it certainly looks promising.

BTW: Yes I do know about SWFObject - but would it be great if we didn't need it? :)
