Bill Moggridge from IDEO recently hosted a great seminar at Stanford University on the difficulties on designing interaction (in relation to his new book).

It includes a lot of interesting video clips worth a look by themselves.
Next week it looks to become even more interesting, as Don Norman will talk about his new book.
BTW: The link points you to the video of the seminar. Too see it you might first need to fill out the signup form (free), and then click on the CS547 Human Computer Interaction Seminar.

Hi Peter,
No, I have not read it - yet. As I understand it. It focuses more on the history of interaction design, than actually how to make it.
It is probably a good book for understanding the background and reason why interaction design works they way it does.

Exactly. And as such, it's quite good.

Hi. Have you read the book? I bought in the hope it was really interesting, but I'm a bit disappointed. Too much about what it was like being there for my taste. BTW check out Alan Kay's video lecture "Doing with images makes symbols". Classic stuff.
Cheers, PS
