Microsoft's Keynote from CES

Bill Gates recently presented Microsoft's take on the future in terms of consumer electronics at CES (Consumer Electronic Show 2007).

I specifically like how they focus on making everything interoperable, and bringing varies things together.

Windows Home Server is also one of those products that I think would make a difference (although the target market will probably not understand what it is about). It is a computer that you hide somewhere - but stores all your data. And it is accessible from everywhere (see a video presentation here).

» Watch the Keynote.

BTW: The products are great, the people are somewhat good, but the PowerPoint slides and the over-hyped videos are not . Microsoft looks like they are trying too hard - with little sense of visual design.
