Brain Freeze...

I have been working on a lot of projects lately. Most of them were very small in size, but all of them required that I came up with some kind of idea.

I have also received a lot of emails from people and companies asking me for advice on varies topics - how to create a viral campaign for something, how to do a certain thing better, how to create design for a car, how to improve the interaction in this phone etc.

The result is that I am now suffering from a severe case of "idea overload" - my brain has simply stopped working :)

I have spent all day trying to create a design concept for a new site. I am usually able to create draft design concepts like these in something like 30 minutes, but today I cannot even get started. Every time I activate that part of my brain that is supposed to generate ideas - it locks up and stays that way.

Damn I need a vacation - a long one :)

... I think I will watch a Pixar movie tonight, which is usually a good way "not to think of work".

I know exactly how you feel. One of my sites I have about 12 articles ready to go, but its just too much. I don't quite like how I've finished all of them and its just so many to pick from that I find myself at a standstill and when I do write these days I don't actually cross one of those articles off the list, instead I find myself writing something completely new and shipping it out the door.

Keep the ideas flowing is what I say, eventually you'll figure out a way to organize the chaos.

Some time ago I wrote an article about good things to do for a good code and one point is: rest! Yes. People think that we're machines or robots that don't need to rest but...

Take a good vacation to a nice place and forget laptop, Internet and eletronic stuff. I do it each three months or my brain turn off easly.

If you need some advices for a trip, I have a lot for you :)

Best

Thanks for the support!

It is not as bad as it sounds. I do need a vacation, but the picture was deliberately taken to make me look frustrated :)
