We have all seen the funny ads from Apple where the Mac guy outshines the PC guy in almost every aspect. But Apple wasn't really the first company to use that idea. Back in the mid '80's, Compaq ran a number of ads where they made fun of IBM. And since it is Friday we could all use a little fun.

The Decision Stank

Mr. Prince Insisted

Compared to a Fish

I need a vacation

32 bits of a bus

Compared to a Mac

Compaq even took a swing at Apple with this ad

...and there are lots of funny ads with John Cleese and Compaq on YouTube
