Early Morning of Le Mans
It is the morning of the 2008 Le Mans, and Audi is leading the race. Tom Kristensen mixed with a bit of rain seemed to be a good recipe for Audi, because they quickly managed to turn a second place into first.
Tom Kristensen said before the race that he hoped that it would either be a scorching hot or very wet - because Audi would benefit from the extreme weather.
The #2 Audi's lead is currently 47 seconds in front of the #7 Peugeot, followed by the #9 Peugeot, the #3 Audi and #1 Audi. The race is still extremely close with only two laps between the leading 5 cars.
The battles are also still going strong in LMP2 and LMGT1. The Danish Team Essex has dropped to 3th place in LMP2, and the Aston Martin barely maintains the lead over the Corvettes in LMGT1.
