Setting up Le Mans 2008

Le Mans is now only a week away, and I am hard at work preparing for the event. Much needs to be done. The official "Baekdal.com Le Mans mini site" (where you are now) has to go live (this weekend), I have to create the 3 tracking applications. And, apart from a number of technical issues - everything is working fine. Stay tuned...

Get the Live Tracker

Baekdal.com's Le Mans viewer allows you to see the Chronos (standings), News, Race Events, Photos, and the Entry list in a single interface. It is a great way to keep up-to-date with the event from qualification to the 24 hour race.

It uses the publicly available race data from the official Le Mans website.

Tracker changed (again): Race Events now displays English data on the English page. Lemans.org have added the wrong link to their page.

How to use:

Download the tracker, unzip the file and double-click on the HTML file inside it.

Note: requires IE7, Firefox 2.

Watch Le Mans 2008 Live

Several TV and radio stations stream the event over the internet - including:

• Eurosport
  Live TV Coverage on Eurosport and Eurosport 2, as well as complete coverage of both the race and qualification online. Only in available in Europe
• Tv2 Sport Denmark
  Live 24 hour coverage of the race online. Only Available in Denmark
• Le Mans Radio
  Live radio broadcast during the entire race. Available worldwide
• Speed TV
  is also covering the Le Mans 2008. Only available in USA
