Introducing: Le Mans 2008 Web Cam Tracker

You can now download the live web cam tracker as well as the live "score" trackers. This Web cam tracker allows you to watch the four official web cams from Le Mans 2008, and they are updated every 5 seconds. You can see the TV feed, 2 other cameras at fixed position on the track and a 4th that usually displays other relevant images (sometimes a map, sometimes the score etc.)

Here is picture what it looks like. It is the laptop that is running the web cam tracker (the picture is from last year, but the tracker looks the same)

I really love the Le Mans web cams because of 3 things:

1. You get the unedited TV feed, so you can still watch Le Mans when your TV is showing advertisements (remember, it only updates once ever 5 seconds)
2. You get 2 extra feeds from specific spots on the track, which give you an extra view of what is going on.
3. You can use this as your "TV", if you live in a part of the world where you cannot watch Le Mans on television. Just turn on Radio Le Mans, and watch the TV feed from the first web cam. It is almost as good as watching the TV itself. (very useful if you have to work during Le Mans)

Notice: Web cam 2-4 is currently used to display the chronos for each class. This will change when they got all the cameras up and running on race day.

Hot to use?

The live web cams are an exclusive feature for Club 24 members, so you cannot use this tracker unless you are a member too.

What you do is to login to the Club 24 website, and copy the URL of each of the 4 web cameras into the setup screen (the first screen you will see when you start the tracker). Then click "watch now" and you set.
