Audi in the Lead.

By Thomas Baekdal | Saturday, June 14, 2008 | Section: lemans

Before the race Tom Kristensen said the strength of Audi was that Peugeot never race at Le Mans without running into problems with their cars, and the Audi's are more reliable. And this seems already to be case.

The #8 Peugeot was in pit due to gear box problems, and the #9 Peugeot had to pit because of faulty headlines.

As a result Audi is in the lead. Of course, there are still 21 hours to go, so anything can happen.

Truth in 24 is amazing - but what a shame »

Audi has created a movie about the legendary 24 hours of Le Mans, from Audi's perspective. It is a thrilling story, about what it takes to be a part of this amazing event. Definitely worth a look, if you are into this sort of thing.
