We are now 4 hours into the race, and things have pretty much settle down. The drivers have got into a good rhythm, and we are seeing far fewer accidents and events.
The most noticeably event is the battle in LMP1, where the #2 Audi has taken the lead. The Peugeots have had some technical problems, but they are still very much in the race. The #7 Peugeot is currently in second place and on the same lap as the leading car.

The other big news is LMGT1. The #50 Saleen lost a wheel and had to limp back to pit.
Apart from that it is the age old battle between the Aston Martins and the Corvettes. Aston is currently in the lead, but they are all on the same lap, so this will probably change in a couple of pit stops.
Overall - a great race.

Every year I go nuts about Le Mans (at least according to some women I know). Not only do I watch the race, I also create a ton of other stuff to make the entire experience more fun.
While we wait for this year's Le Mans, I am going to post a number of articles about some of the racing cars to take part of the event. But yesterday I got an email from Porsche about their new Porsche Panamer - and it was so funny.

Audi has created a movie about the legendary 24 hours of Le Mans, from Audi's perspective. It is a thrilling story, about what it takes to be a part of this amazing event. Definitely worth a look, if you are into this sort of thing.
