I always find myself in need to explain why the social web is so powerful. Most people, even many who already use them, do not really understand it.

I am constantly looking for new videos, presentation, and articles where people are brilliantly explaining what this all about. Here is a good one that I found a few days ago.

This is really what it's about.

  • One person can make a difference
  • But you need to act, to take charge, to lead a movement to do.
  • But you need to reach out.
  • You need to follow people.
  • You need to help them.
  • This then, might make you a part of something bigger.
  • Which in turn might turn into something gigantic.

But most importantly, you need to be a part of the social 'universe'. Without it, you are never going to get the chance at all. You will never get a change to be a part of something bigger.

Imagine what you could become a part of. Being in the right place, at the right time. You could touch the lives of millions of people, in 240 countries around the world.
