What is the right price for an ebook? Some seem to think it should be 99 cents, while others believe that, without print, it should be less than half. In this article, we are going to find the right price and explore the future of self-publishing authors.

Over the past couple of months, I have received quite a lot of emails and tweets from people asking me about self-publishing. Almost of them have been of a technical nature, what app do you use to convert you books to ePub, what channels do you use, and etc.

But I get the feeling that many think that publishing your own book is just a matter of writing it, converting it to ePub, and then submitting it to the largest book store on the planet, commonly known as Amazon.com.
