The closed off paywall doesn't work, we all know that. It's a concept build on business models from the past combined with restrictive technology of the present. The paywall completely ignores everything the internet is about. The Times of London managed to lose most of its audience and Mckinsey Quarterly has thrown in the towel and taken down their paywall.
