Galvanized steel pipes can be used for many things. They are usually used to direct the flow of water. But if you pour electricity through them you end up with these amazing desk lamps.
The Kozo1-3 desk lamps are galvanized steel pipes put together in the form of handmade lamp. The parts come from around the world and each bares the trademarks of its origin country. The materials are left raw and alive, with little authentic rust at the joints and the marks from hand tools that were used in the assembly process.
It's Brilliant!

Steampunk for the win. New stuff in old covers is becoming more and more of a trend it seems.

I can imagine semanticists would love to get their hands on one of these! "This is not a pipe..." Actually it's a drain pipe, although not how you'd expect to see one. I wonder how successful it is as a lamp though? It looks very rigid... But having said that, it would be sweet to own one.
