Car, Bus and Airplane Wraps - continued.

By Thomas Baekdal | Thursday, September 14, 2006 | Section: design

As you might know, I got strange hobby. I design full-cover advertisements to put on cars, buses and even planes. Most of it never makes it out of the computer, but occasionally my designs becomes real.

Last month I made a somewhat simple design for two buses that was used in special promotion.

I have also been playing with designs for airplanes. This has proved to be much harder than creating graphics for cars. An airplane has so many different angles and it extremely wide.

The Real Pay Wall »

Spout Lamp »

There is something intriguing and very odd about combining water fixtures and lamps. I wrote about the rough looking lamp, made of steel pipes, a while ago, but now you can get a similar lamp in a more contemporary design.

Remember The Skelewags? »

Many moons ago, back in August 2007, I posted a very popular article about the Skelewags. They are a number of very creative drawings made by Richard Vermaak. Now, the Skelewags are back - big time!

Gumball 3000 Car Wrap »

Earlier last month I was asked whether I had any ideas for a car wrap design for a 2009 Rolls Royce Phantom. The wrap was for one of the participants of this year's Gumball 3000, who wanted to stand out a bit.

Pixels - in New York »

Here is something for all you classic gaming geeks. What if all the old gaming characters from the 1980s broke out and started rampaging through New York?

iPad case Indiana Jones Style »

It was already late in the afternoon when the two horsemen came riding into the camp from the north. Indy was in his tent resting when he heard that familiar deep bellow that he had known for so many years. "Indy!" the baritone called out. Immediately Indy was on his feet and walking outside.

TravelTeq - Laptop Bags »

There are a ton of very beautiful laptop bags on the market, but sometimes you still see something that stands above the crowd. This is the case with these laptop bags from TravelTeq.

Logorama - Pulp Fiction for Brands »

Here is something for all you brand freaks out there. The Logorama short film. It's not for kids, it's nasty, it's cruel - but it is incredibly well made.
