I recently stumbled upon Dmitry Maximov's amazing drawings. He is combining real pictures with cartoony alien figures, creating a special world of shy and curious beings.
I really like this kind of art. It is incredibly creative. He have managed to mix just the right colors, highlights and shadows to make this seem real.
BTW: Another good example is the work by Chewie in the Skelewags.
