Daan Roosegaarde has created a number of amazing art installations that explores the combination of art, experience and interaction.
His latest project is the Flow 5.0. Two walls filled with ventilators that react to your motion and sound.

Another interesting project is "Dune". It is a huge number of "light-sticks" that again reacts when people move next to it - or to the sound in the area.

The whole "Flow" thing looks like it isn't working quite right. Some fans spinning when they're supposed to, some fans not... get your act together!

thats why they call it 'interaction'; you dont always get what you expect... :)

I saw the Dune project at the STRP festival in Eindhoven (the Netherlands) a few months ago. It's really magical and fun to play with. :)

The busy world on which we move rather quickly, over-looking much, it appears that "Dune" subtly commands with simplicity that we stop and engage. A mending of our environmental "dis-connect" that is much needed.
