Pink Edition
After months of waiting, I finally received an insanely small, but hugely great piece of equipment - a Mac Mini.

a Mac Mini at the home office

The first time I ever noticed the Mac Mini was while watching the webcast from MacWorld SF 2005. As Steve Jobs picked it up, demonstrating its size, I knew I had found a replacement for my old Mac - a huge and noicy PowerMac G4 (which now serves a large-format printer server). It was one of those rare moments where you simply think "that is a brilliant way to make a product".
I own a Mac to test the websites and web applications we make - and to play around with. The Mac Mini is a great machine for this purpose - it is small, cheap and relatively fast.
The only problem now, is that I really want to replace my Dell Inspiron 8600 with a Powerbook. Not because I really need one, but because the Dell suddenly looks very ugly in comparison...
...and probably a new set of speakers too.
