Have you ever wanted to get a pair of shoes with a special and unique design, maybe even with a design you have made all by yourself? Well, the Swedish company "Look Down" will make you a pair of shoes with your design on them for roughly 200-500 EUR.
Interesting concept!

BTW: Their websites look extremely odd - and doesn't work very well...

I think they are not the first with this concept, I saw some shoes of Nike on the television a few weeks ago that had the same principle; customize your own shoe. Interesting though!

Well, Nike got Nike ID, which allows you customize you nike shoes and create something that is uniquely yours. But, the difference is that Nike allows you to choose between a (huge) number of Nike elements - but you cannot add design elements yourself (except for some text).

The website looks terrific in Firefox, but it does look kinda crappy in IE...

Roughly 200-500 euro?!!!
Now thats expensive...
Converse also sells custom made shoes but yeah you can choose the designs and not make your design.

I like their designs, but it is unfortunate that they had to STEAL the content of their Info page from my site -> Sole Brother Custom Sneakers
Very unprofessional!

It is, but at least they link back to me. There is actually a lot sites that copy the content from this site. And some do it without crediting me as the source.

Yes Thomas I agree. This is an interesting concept. Doing things yourself is getting en vogue again and the Internet does a good job promoting such concepts. But the website is not doing them a grand favour.
