Graphic Edition
You have probably already seen Pixar's latest movie "Ratatouille" - or perhaps you are waiting for the DVD to come out in November. But if you like art, drawing, and design like me you should consider buying "The Art of Ratatouille".

Like all "The Art of [insert any Pixar title here]" this is just an incredible book. You got pages after pages of artistic drawings, concept art, expression studies, and sketches that the artists, designers, and producers used to visualize what Ratatouille should look like.
And, on top of that you got commentaries from the artist themselves explaining why they did something, or what went through their minds went they needed to create a specific situation.

...and if you get hooked on the visual creativity of Pixar - like me - then perhaps you should also consider getting:
The Art of Cars

The Art of Monsters Inc.

The of Art of The Incredibles

The Art of Finding Nemo

A place I used to work at used to buy these for the staff. It's great for inspiration and to see the work that goes into a quality production.

Okay, today I found the Art of WALL-E at a local bookstore, so I couldn't resist, I had to buy it. And I'm totally going to have the rest of the collection. But until then, I envy your sweet sweet collection of pretty pretty Pixar books. :)
